My Post A Year Ago Today

A year ago today, I was 34 weeks pregnant. For Jeremy's birthday, May 3, we took a quick trip to Galveston. Here is the post that I put up a year ago today.

Tomorrow, my husband will celebrate a birthday!! I tease him about the fact that when our beautiful daughter is born, he will be 28 and I'll only be 25. :) He he.

All joking aside, I wanted to brag on my husband a while. Here are 28 reasons why I love him even more today.

28. He is wise.

27. He gets along with almost anybody.

26. He knows how to make almost anybody smile.

25. What other 5'3'' man could stand apart in a crowd?

24. He doesn't like wearing flip flops. In fact, he doesn't even own a pair.

23. He has an insane ability to sing harmony.

22. He appreciates music.

21. He loves to sing worship songs and fills our home with praises to our King!

20. Who else can impress me with his diarrhea jokes? :)

19. He treats me like a princess.

18. He works hard to keep our house looking great!

17. He has a pony tail…. Okay, so I don't love the pony tail but he does!

16. Both of our favorite "kid" cereal is Lucky Charms.

15. He is honest and full of integrity.

14. He has let me take over his recliner as my belly gets bigger.

13. He makes a mean omelet.

12. He is intelligent.

11. He will eat almost anything I cook, even when it is bad.

10. He has an amazing family.

9. He enjoys being out in God's creation.

8. He knows so much about so many different things.

7. He can create some funny shirts! (Which he will be doing soon.)

6. He loves his Mom and Dad (and mine too!)

5. He is a die-hard Aggie. Whoop!

4. He is the perfect height to hug and rest my head on his shoulder.

3. He lets me drive the newer silver car and he drives my car I had in high school.

2. He loves the Lord.

1. He is my husband who loves, protects, serves, honors, and cherishes me.

As I have seen Jeremy throughout this past year, I have seen him bloom into a more Godly man, an even better husband, and (best yet) and wonderful dad.

So in honor of his 29th birthday, here is number 29 to add to the list.

29. Nothing melts my heart more than to see Jeremy play with our daughter, make her giggle hysterically, and cuddle with her when she is sleepy.

Jeremy, I can't wait to see what I'll be posting about next year for you 30th birthday! You are such a blessing to me and so many others. Happy birthday, my love.
