Weight Loss, Celebration, and Change

Since I haven't been blogging too frequently lately, I thought I would do a brief synopsis of the Stewart's world lately.

I am so pleased to say that Jeremy has lost over 20 pounds since mid-July! Woo Hoo! He has been so disciplined and is looking great, if I may say so myself. :)

Last weekend Jeremy and I celebrated 6 years of marriage. We went to The Republic (the best steak I have had), spend the night at the historic La Salle, ate at Madden's for breakfast, and went to the movies! What an amazing break!! Thanks Mom and Dad for watching Addie!

I recently switched positions at Grace. I used to be the Early Childhood Assistant at Anderson. This meant that in May, we had to leave the Southwood campus we were attending so that I could work Sunday mornings at Anderson. After lots of learning curves, I remember thinking to myself around the end of July, "I think I've got this down." The next week, the pastors approached me asking me if I would be interested in moving over to Southwood as the Early Childhood Assistant over there. A week later, they officially offered me the position and after much prayer I felt that the Lord was leading us back to Southwood. So on August 8th, I officially began at Southwood. Two weeks later, some other positions were filled and they asked if I would be interested in being the Sunday School Coordinator at Southwood. Whew! Talk about change. Yep, change would be a great way to describe my work life lately. Long story (somewhat short), the Stewart's are now over at Southwood and later in the semester when things settle down, I'll be switching over to the Sunday School side of Children's Ministry.

Addisen has been super fun. She is really picking up the pace and each week learning new things she can do. She is getting better at signing for things she wants instead of saying, "MMM!" all the time. My absolute favorite thing about this stage is how Addisen will go pick up a book, bring it to me, turn around, and then sit on my lap. I love it!
