Busy Week

Whew! What a busy week we had. I thought I would give Addisen a chance to blog, so here is her rendition of this past week.

Saturday & Sunday:

Grandma and Grandpa Scheffer came by to see me. Grandma comes to see me often during the week (since it is summer), so Grandpa wanted a chance to come see me too! I had fun being held and sitting in Grandpa's lap.

Monday:

This was somewhat of a normal day. Mommy went to work up at church and I tagged along. I enjoyed sitting in my chair to watch Jenn, Kyrsten, and Mommy work. Other people stopped by and ask to hold me too. I must be popular! Oh, I also began wearing a new sleeper my MeMaw Stewart got me. It has a verse on it. It says "I am wonderfully made" from Psalm 139. Mommy tells me that she read this Psalm to me while I was still in her tummy. I like this verse.

Tuesday:

On Tuesday, Mommy's cousin Kristi came all the way from Houston to meet me! I liked her. She helped Mommy give me a bath, and she even folded my clothes while Mommy was feeding me. We got to pick Daddy up for lunch. I had my first Barbecue experience!

Then after Kristi went back home, I went with Mommy to Grandma & Grandpa Scheffer's house! This was the first girls-only road trip. Mommy did great and I slept the entire time. When we got to La Grange, I met their dogs, Missy & Dexter, for the first time. What was even more special was when we went that night to meet my Great Grandma Scheffer! See, here I am in her arms.

We took Great Grandma Scheffer to dinner and then Mommy, Grandma and I went back to La Grange.

Wednesday:

ROAD TRIP! Mommy's cousin, Nikki, was in Texas visiting. Mommy wanted to see her and the other Theide family so Grandma, Mommy and I drove to Kelli's house to meet even more family. I had already met Great Grandma, Great Grandpa, and Aunt Cindy so it was fun seeing them again. But I got to meet Mommy's Uncle Clifford, Mommy's cousins Nikki, Kelli, & Jason and their daughter Kylee. I enjoyed watching Kylee play dress up.

After a long drive back, Mommy & I got home about 10:30 that night -- way past my bed time! What a busy day!

Thursday:

Mommy went to work at the Southwood campus that morning and I tagged along. Daddy met us for lunch (since I missed him so much), and Mommy worked at the Anderson campus that afternoon.

Friday:

Mom's Day Out! Mommy went shopping with her friends Kristi and Lisa so I got to hang out all day with Grandma Scheffer!! She came in town just to hang out with me. I had so much fun and Mommy did too!

Saturday:

I have never had one of these before, but Mommy had a birthday. My Daddy was super sweet and cooked Mommy pancakes for breakfast. We all went out to lunch as a family. My MeMaw and PawPaw came into town to see me! They say I am growing. That night, good friends of Mommy came over! I got to see Baby Ella and be held by Allison, Sara, and Betty. That was really fun!

Okay, I enjoyed blogging but I think I am going to go take a nap...
